Protein Partner’s sales team includes Chuck Loper, Leslie Wright, Mike Cline, and Sam Hodge. Together, they have over 125 years of experience selling and marketing protein products to the food service and retail industry.
Our excellent support team comprises Beth Affleck, Andrea Phebus, Vicki Brown, and Keeley Arredondo, who handle our company’s logistical and administrative needs.
Chuck Loper, co-owner
Chuck is the chairman and co-owner of Protein Partner. He has been in the food service industry for over 40 years, primarily dealing with meat and protein products. Chuck has owned a meat processing plant, serving several resorts and every major hotel chain in Orlando, FL. He was a senior officer at one of the nation’s largest food distributors and has also been the manager of a seafood distribution plant. With 45 years of experience in this industry, Chuck is ready to assist you with all of your protein needs.
Chuck has seven children, ranging from the ages of 45 to 21. He enjoys spending time with his kids, working outdoors, skiing, volunteering for local charities, collecting old cars, and going to car shows.
Leslie Wright, co-owner
Leslie is the co-owner of Protein Partner and has been in sales for over 35 years. Working directly from her office in Bozeman, Montana, Leslie primarily focuses on high-end beef products, specializing in organic and antibiotic-free products.
Together with her children, Van and Lexi, Leslie enjoys horseback riding, skiing, traveling, and new challenges.
Pork, Poultry, Beef
Mike specializes in pork products while also buying and selling beef. He has been in the meat business for over 25 years and is ready to assist you from his office in Eagle, Colorado.
Mike enjoys skiing, fishing, cycling, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Raised on a registered Angus seedstock cattle operation in west Georgia, Sam was born into the US beef industry. His childhood was primarily spent at 4-H livestock shows, excelling on meat and livestock judging teams, playing football and basketball, and helping on the family farm. Sam is a graduate of both the University of Georgia and Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a Master’s Degree in Beef Industry Leadership, respectively. After a brief stint as a Georgia County Extension Agent, Sam began a career in food service distribution and never looked back. Over the past 22 years as a US meat industry professional, Sam has bought, sold, and merchandised beef and pork both domestically and globally.
Sam operates out of his Atlanta, GA office and, in his spare time, enjoys fishing, growing things, yoga, coaching youth sports, cooking, playing harmonica, and spending time with his family.
